CPK's Original BBQ Chicken Chopped Salad

CPK's Original BBQ Chicken Chopped Salad

Monday, June 20, 2011

It's a holiday, it's raining, and I'm craving for CPK's Original BBQ Chicken Chopped Salad (P345 Personal, P585 For Sharing). It's packed with chopped lettuce, black beans, sweet corn, crispy tortilla strips and Monterey Jack cheese, fresh tomatoes, green onions and topped with chopped BBQ chicken breast.

As you take a spoonful, the different textures just explode with flavor inside your mouth which really ignites your appetite. I really don't like beans but in this dish, it blends well with the other ingredients and the barbecue-flavored chicken gives it that little kick. Everything balances really well which makes for a great starter to your meal. You can add fresh avocado for an additional P120. I'd like to try that add-on the next time I visit CPK, it sounds really good.
