Bulgogi Brothers Bulgogi Bibimbap
A thing of gastronomic beauty...

Bulgogi Brothers corn quail eggs and sweet potatoes
I love Korean food, albeit I don't eat at Korean restaurants as much as I would want to. My current favorite one? Bulgogi Brothers. They have refillable appetizers called Banchan and cute little bottles of Korean liquors. I have yet to try their inebriants though, I just want to take all the bottles home.

Bulgogi Brothers Sogogi Japchae
Do try their Sogogi Japchae which are glass noodles interlaced with veggies and topped with beef. The sticky pieces of rice cakes at the edge are also good. If you want noodles with soup, there's the Janchi-guksu that has seafood and vegetables.

Don't leave Bulgogi Brothers without trying their Bulgogi Bibimbap (see cover photo) -- a feast for the eyes as well as for the palate. It's a delicious hodgepodge of beef bulgogi, carrots, zucchini, mushrooms, beansprouts and a host of other veggies, with a perfect orb of bright yellow yolk right at the center.

Bulgogi Brothers VIP Special Bulgogi
Their VIP Special Bulgogi is indeed fit for royalty. The tender and flavorful boneless short ribs and rib eye steaks with beautiful marbling cooked right in front of you will definitely leave you hankering for more. I particularly loved, loved, loved the short ribs. I'll definitely be back for those!

I want to try their VIP Special Bulgogi. Ever since we tried Korean food, my husband and I were hooked! I tried to duplicate the food at home but I just can't seem to measure up. :P My husband is a self-confessed meat lover and I'm sure he'll enjoy this dish with me :) My FRM fave article is Kitchen's Best Cake Hall of Fame posted last May 7. I'm a cake lover and the post reminded me to go back to Kitchen's Best 'coz we sure have a lot to try.

I'm sure that Papa (father) would love the VIP Special Bulgogi. This is a great post-Father's Day gift. :)

I love all your posts but because I am into Japanese food, "Kashi Makis from My Pink Wasabi" became my favorite. That day the word "mouthwatering" is all over the place. That's the only time that I felt extreme hunger after reading a food article. Exage but that's for real. :)

My fave post would be Food Reviews Manila's 1st Year Anniversary! It is fascinating to see how this blog came to be..how it first started! It is when we recognize our beginnings, that we are able to appreciate where we are headed for... It is your own honest opinion of things be it a dining destination...their service..or the very product itself that allows readers to check and see for themselves!
So thank you for allowing us your readers to do just that..salivate and drool on your food porn but at the same time give us the privacy to discern in the end if it's a thumbs up or down;)!!!--carmencita watkins

I want to try the simplest bulgogi they have with Jeff Siy of boy-kuripot.com =) We love Korean food and up to now, we haven't quite found bulgogi that we love yet. A friend once said that if a restaurant can't master a basic dish well, then what more the more complicated ones in the menu.

I like your 1st anniversary post because it's a great comeback and a great reason to celebrate blogging as well. As a blogger myself, I am seeking to reinvent myself and I actually got a new domain to start a new point in my travel blogging. I don't want to be simply known as Girl Kuripot coz I do spend for my travels and what is important is value for money. Unlike you though, I'm still struggling to put it up. So reading your comeback post is one of the great things I did for the week. Thanks for the inspiration.

Cheers,

I only learned eating Korean foods late last school year's semester, there was this small Korean restaurant beside our school [so small you wouldn't even notice it's an eatery. and only 12 person will fit inside the store!] One of my friends brought me there and I was hesitant at first because I haven't eaten any other Korean food aside from kimchi and ramyun. She made me try Kimbap first since it's similar to sushi [which is my favorite cuisine-- Japanese!] Until we became regular customers, every after class together- homebase for our chat moments.

As a frequent customer, I noticed that there's only 2-3 workers for the store. A mess-girl and 2 shifting cook, a boy and a korean women average in ages 30+, which we think is the owner. One of thing I love in this store is the unlimited kimchi which the lady of the house prepares herself [because we can see the piles of cabbages in large bowls. AMAZINGGGGGGG!]

I started craving for korean food so I invited my other friend to dine with me. One of the person I brought to that store is my "THEN" special friend. The one order different from the other and we share the serving by half so we'll also get to eat what the other ate. Coincidentally, [or inevitably????] we both love bibimbap! We were just friends but this korean foods made us share foods with the one other[eating on the same plate]- especially if you're of different gender. With this memory, Korean Cuisine hold a special part in my heart, not just the store. I can't always go back to my old school just to eat korean foods. So I'm in search for a korean restaurant I can always drop by.

I'm currently not in good terms with him but looks like I'll see him soon with my bday celebration coming up, hopefully will be able to patch up our problem so I can share it with him. :')

I honestly want to try their japchae! :) I am fond of the Korean culture and I can say that I can do a fair judgment about samgyupsal, bibimbap, and japchae, because these are the foods that I order on a regular basis on Korean restos. I want to know if Bulgogi Brothers' foods have a touch of authenticity or it's already "Filipinized."

With regards to FRM's previous reviews, I really liked the Circles buffet post. It made me realize if I should really go and try it! The photos gave me clear vision of what's in store at Circles buffet. I didn't know that they had shawarma and Peking duck for customers! :) The tastes of some of the foods were well justified too! :)

Korean food addict (I have lotsa posts on my blog about Korean food)!

The post I like most is FRM 1st Anniversary Giveaway #8 - My Pink Wasabi. Aside from the very catchy and intriguing subject, I thought that there is really wasabi in those maki-looking desserts. I really had a hard time figuring out how Anna Chua made (or should I say baked?) those. I am a pure blooded Kapampangan and I know if something is delish just by the looks of it and I think that these will surpass my expectations. While I was reading your posts and mentioned “drool” I just said “you bet” to myself. Lols. I am hoping that these would be available her in Angeles City so that we Angelenos can just drop by every time we want to dig in for some unique and yummy desserts.

I will definitely order Bulgogi Bibimbap and VIP Special Bulgogi and I will share these delicious Korean feast with my husband. We will definitely be in bulgogi heaven if I win this. Yum!

My favorite post is Shi Lin: Home of Great Xiao Long Bao because it was a very helpful post before we left for Taipei last month. I was so clueless about Taiwanese food then so the post was a great help. The photos were so mouthwatering and tempting that I made sure we tried them all in Taipei. Thank you!

I'd love to try their Unyang Style Bulgogi! Who wouldn't want to feel like a princess with this royal cuisine? I'd love to tag along my mom and my boyfriend, then we'll also order Jjigae Brothers because we all love tofu and kimchi!

One of the posts that I really liked was the post about Flavors of China... It reminded me so much of my childhood because whenever we go to the mall, we eat at either a Japanese or Chinese restaurant. Our days at Flavors of China were some of the best! This post also gave me more reasons to go to Flavors of China again, with the food that (as far as I remember) were not yet in the menu when we used to frequent the place.

I like the post "Going Around the world in Circles", yeah its not just about the food but I envy your date with your hubby 'coz I am terribly missing my own hubby. We've been away from each other for months 'coz he is an OFW. I see you enjoyed your time together.

I would order Sogogi Japchae as I ove noodles of any kind and I'll definitely go with my family to enjoy this treat.

I like and post "Revisiting Recipes" because I grew up eating Filipino foods. Seeing those all-time Filipino favorites makes me remember childhood dishes that my mom would prepare for us like and kare-kare and the tilapia. Difference with the tilapia, we just fry it whole unlike in Recipes they fillet it.

My favorite post would be that of P.F. Chang's. It was because of FRM that I got to know about PF Chang's at ATC! I spent my advance birthday celebration with my family at PF Chang's and we loved it! Our favorite drink there was the Jasmine Iced Tea! They even offered us a free sample of the tamarind and jasmine just to get us to choose between the two! :)and of course, the Chang's CHicken lettuce wrap that me and my brother have been craving for so long, because we only get to eat the pigeon lettuce wrap at Emerald's and this is actually better!
