Solitary slice in a moment of solitude...

Nolita is a name taken from a neighborhood in New York known as "North of Little Italy". The place itself has that big city vibe, exuding a certain charm with its picnic tables amid an industrial setting. They have several pizza flavors, though not all are available every day. And since it's self-service in here, I had to cross my fingers that a table would still be waiting for me after lining up and waiting for my pizza.

Steak and Eggs Pizza (P250/slice)

Wild Berry Iced Tea (P110)

Luckily, their famous Steak and Eggs Pizza was available. Large in size, a single slice can fill me up fast. I have no trouble eating on my own. In fact, I relish the times I get to do so, for these are few and far between. I smile back at the fried egg as I cut through the layers of cheese, steak bits, and green bell peppers. Crisp and chewy at the same time, the brownish crust supported the aforementioned elements just fine. I chase it down with a long sip of sweet Wild Berry Iced Tea.

I take my time, do some people watching, and revel in this little rare moment. I once again peruse the menu, and mentally take note of what I'd try next. Hmm... the Roasted Veggie and Chicken looks good. The Wild Mushroom, Walnut and Ricotta sounds worth a try as well. Shrimp Carbonara? Why the heck not? Yes, I'll be back, Nolita...

P.S.
I got a comment on Instagram that my photos in this post look different from my normal photography style. Yes, that's right 'coz these photos were taken using my phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 2), and I was just playing around with different filters. :)
