NORTHERN EATS -- a guide to the 50 must-try restaurants in the areas of Manila to Pampanga, as recommended by Anton Diaz of Our Awesome Planet.

Good news for foodies, especially those not familiar with restaurants in the North! We now have a guide to the best food places in the Northern part of the metro, whether it be a hole-in-the-wall, a garden restaurant, or a home converted into one; no mainstream eats here. And that's what's best about it -- you probably won't know of this except through other foodies at heart!

And of course, the man behind the list -- Anton Diaz -- has a few words to say about the book. Apparently, the restaurants were chosen based on the following criteria:

1. It is not commercialized.
2. It has a unique concept.
3. It has an inspiring story.

Three bases that make for an interesting culinary adventure high up on the metro map that will definitely pique anyone's gastronomic curiosity.

There will be a book launch of NORTHERN EATS tomorrow evening, November 9, 2012, from 7:00 - 8:00 PM at Mezza Norte, UP - Ayala Land Technohub. This book will be on sale during the event, at 20% off the original price of Php 150, pretty inexpensive compared to other restaurant guides in the market.
